We want the right person, who will lead us through the next years of our journey

The conditions on offer are flexible, as we want the right person, who will lead us through the next years of our journey and help us play our part in improving the dreadful situation in the region through ability, dedication, knowledge, networking skills, adaptability and a sustaining desire to make things better through the means and values the Balfour Project advocates.

Benefits

The Executive Director role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis. We would, however, encourage interested candidates with more flexible working requirements to make contact, as we are open to considering any suitable working patterns.

The role will be remote-first but will require ad-hoc travel to London. While it is not assumed that the successful candidate will live in London, an ability to be in London (potentially twice a week and when circumstances require) is essential.

There will be an initial probation period of six months, during which the postholder will be entitled to all the relevant protections under UK employment law, and after which a permanent contract will be awarded.

A highly competitive salary in the region of £70-80k is on offer for the right candidate, depending on experience.

The Executive Director will report to the Chair (and in their absence, to the Vice Chair) as line-manager and will be broadly accountable to the Board of Trustees.
